The Artistic Theatre “Mher Mkrtchyan” has opened its doors after overhauling and re-equipment initiated by Yerevan Municipality. The theatre reopened with the first show of Yevgeny Schwartz’s “An Ordinary Miracle” play. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan was present at the first show.

The world-famous ballet “Gizelle” staged by Akram Khan will be performed at the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after A.Spendiaryan on May 10 and 11.

More than 60 applications and more than 100 variants of miniatures: the professional jury of the open competition made a choice for the monument to the great chansonnier Charles Aznavour. The work of art entitled “La Boheme” created by David Minasyan got 9 more votes that other variants.

The stand of the historical and archaeological reserve-museum “Erebuni” has opened in the State Hermitage in Saint-Petersburg. Three archeological samples found in the Urartian Mausoleum in Yerevan and in New Armavir are on display. The samples date back to the
