Within the frames of “Erebuni-Yerevan 2799” program of events the innovative exhibition “Smart Yerevan” was held. At the exhibition talented children from Yerevan and different provinces of Armenia had the possibility to present their ideas. At the exhibition arranged in the are of cascade complex were displayed robots designed and programmed by the children within the frames of the education project of “Armat” engineering lab which works out and support robotics. 3D models, computer games, virtual glasses and other innovative solutions designed by children were presented at the exhibition.

Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the ceremony of start of the simultaneous flight of balloons within the scope of the International Balloon Festival “Discover Armenia from the sky” which is held in Yerevan from 14 to 17 of October for the first time within the frames of “Erebuni-Yerevan 2799” celebration.

Within the frames of “Erebuni-Yrevan 2799” foundation Erebuni street of the administrative district with the same name turned into a big festive fair. Together with the representatives of the official delegations visited Yerevan the Mayor walked about the street, congratulated townspeople and familiarized himself with the presented works of folk art, with national cuisine, game shows and garments.

Festive events united many people of different age and taste were going on from early morning on 28 stages installed in the capital. To celebrate the holiday with townspeople Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan together with representatives of official delegations visited Yerevan walked about the capital,watched the festive events and congratulated the participants on the 2799th anniversary of Yerevan foundation.

The festive atmosphere also reigned in Northern avenue where within the scope of “Erebuni-Yerevan 2799” celebration numerous interesting events were organized.In particular, the townspeople and guests of the capital could watch national performances and the students and dance groups of the music schools and cultural centers presented the art of folk dance.
