Within the scope of the festive events of “Erebuni-Yerevan 2799” the ceremony of opening of “Yerevan in painting” exhibition was held in the foyer of Yerevan City Hall. Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the ceremony.

On the event of Yerevan Day, by RA President’s decree, for fruitful and conscientious work the “Movses Khorenatsi” medal was awarded to the Deputy Staff Secretary of Yerevan Municipality Samvel Mertarjyan.

On the event of 2799th anniversary of Yerevan, within the frames of the reception organized in the foyer of Yerevan City Hall, Mayor Taron Margaryan expressed gratitude to all the persons who have many-year experience of working in various spheres and are going on to contribute to Yerevan development.

The diversity of Yerevan palette will be presented in one of the cultural corners of the capital-Saryan park. Within the frames of “Erebuni-Yerevan 2799” program the art event YerevanART called “The painting for my Yerevan” has started here.

In accordance with the good traditions, before starting the festive events dedicated to the City Day, the monuments of Yerevan are being washed and cleaned. Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan welcomed the delegation headed by the Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi (Georgia) Irakli Lekvinadze arrived in Yerevan to participate in “Erebuni-Yerevan 2799” celebration.
