Dear co-citizens, On October 21, within the frames of the RA Government program “Clean Armenia” the citywide clean-up action is planned in Yerevan. The activities are to be carried our in yard areas, parks and squares as well as in the areas adjacent to the establishments of public significance.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the delegation headed by the president of the European Volleyball Confederation Arexander Boricic. The newly-appointed chairman of the Federation of Volleyball of Armenia, Yerevan Mayor’s Advisor Hrachya Muradyan was present at the meeting too. Greeting the guests the Mayor briefy presented the programs aimed at sport life activation in the capital.

According to Yerevan Municipality Department of Health, 425 babies -214 boys and 211 girls- were born in the maternity homes of Yerevan. During the same period 35467 citizens applied to the municipal out-patient clinics of the capital.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan took part in the ceremony of renaming the passage after the ArmSSR statesman, the first head of Nor Nor, the candidate of historical sciences Pavel Safyan in administrative district of Nor Nork. 

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the ceremony of opening of the new building of the children and youth sport complex of Kanaker-Zeytun. The RA NA Deputy Robert Sargsyan, the chief coach of the national team of Armenia of Greco-Roman wrestling Levon Julfalakyan and the Olympic champion, triple world champion of Greco-Roman wrestling Arthur Alexanyan were present at the ceremony of opening.

During the weekly working meeting, following the suggestion of the RA Government to organize a Republican-wide Saturday clean-up action within the frames of “Clean Armenia” program, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the Department of Communal Services of the Municipality, the heads of administrative districts and all municipal organizations to organize and hold the citywide clean-up on October 21.

During the regular working meeting Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed “Management Technology Center of Yerevan” CJSC, Department of Development and Investment Programs of Yerevan Municipality and the commission “Smart Yerevan” to make preparations for the contest of programming and designing “Smart Yerevan Hackathon” which is going to be held in Yerevan on October 21-22.
