Yerevan Municipality jointly with the United Nations Development Program ( UNDP), the Global Environment Fund and the RA Ministry of Nature Protection is going to hold a series of events “Yerevan green lighting week” on October 23-27.

To meet the instruction of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan all measures required have been taken to arrange the visit of the parents of servicemen from Yerevan serving in the army in frontier military units This was reported during the working meeting in the City Hall.  

Yerevan Municipality, VivaCell-MTS company and the Union of Employers of Information and Communication technologies signed the tripartite memorandum of Cooperation expressing this way their readiness to assist with their joint efforts in the realization of “Yerevan-smart city” program.

On October 21 the 24-hour “Smart city” Hackathon started in Yerevan City Hall. The aim of the hackathon implemented by the joint initiative of Yerevan Municipality, the Union of Europe and the UN Development Program is to work out smart solutions for Yerevan. Mayor Taron Margaryan 

The meeting discussion was organized within the frames of cooperation between Yerevan and Saint Petersburg and in the context of trade and economic ties expansion and realization of joint investment programs. The head of the trade house Land” Anna Shlyanina, acting CEO of the 

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the ceremony of opening of the French oncologic center in Yerevan. The honour of opening of the new medical center was given to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and to the eminent French oncologist, physician, the head of the medical center Norbert Avetyan.

During the two-day seminar organized in Yerevan City Hall the mechanisms and events of the implementation Yerevan “Green city” action plan were discussed. Accordingly, the measures, challenges and best international experience provided for in the sphere of environment, transport,
