Within the frames of cooperation between the RA marzes and Karabakh developing by the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan,at the behest of the head of Shengavit district of Yerevan Armen Sargsyan the head of staff of Martakert district Sasun Harutyunyan and the deputy director of the kindergarten N1 in Martakert Alla Bejanyan visited Yerevan.

The regular surprise made by the official tourism program «Yerevan City Tour» was for the Syrian Armenian pupils of teh high school N 29 after Andranik Margaryan.

On the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan the program of furniture distribution to municipal kindergartens has been implemented for three years. As a result of the program all the 160 municipal kindergartens have been provided with new kitchen appliances.

The improvement and well-arrangement of the area adjacent to «Karmir Blur» archaeological area have mainly been finished. The park has been furnished with benches, children's games, dustbins, a bower.

At the regular meeting of the Council of Elders of Yerevan the draft decisions on naming streets after the folklorist and musician Hayrik Muradyan; after the Galoyan brothers who contributed greatly to science and culture; as well as naming a street Voskerichneri street were approved. The draft decision on placing the memorial board of honorary builder Edik Hakobyan was approved as well.
