Since 2006 the RA Chamber of Trade and Industry has been organizing “Mercury” award, the honorary prize of which is given to the companies and individuals achieving significant success and contribution to the sphere of economy and business.

Within the frames of the program of reconstruction of the water lines and canals feeding the capital one of the largest sources, Garni water line, has been completely renovated. The honour of solemn opening was given to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the Governor of Kotayk marz Karapet Guloyan.

The employees of the social welfare and health care division of Malatia Sebastia district organized a regular visit to the elderly people living in the administrative district. Within the frames of «You are not alone» action the visitors spent the whole day with the elderly people, listened to their recollections of the past. 

Yerevan Deputy Mayor David Ohanyan met with the representative of the German Red Cross regional organization of Baden-Wurttemberg, the leader of «Charity kitchen» program in Yerevan Carl-Heintz Schaide who is from German city of Schawabisch Gmund, is a pensioner priest and has been carrying charity programs in Yerevan for 23 years.

By the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan the administrative districts of the capital cooperate with the districts of NKR and within the frames of this cooperation the delegation of Erebuni district of the capital visited Hadrout district of Karabakh.
