Yerevan continues to implement initiatives aimed at promoting inclusivity and enhancing social services.
As part of the second phase of the social taxi service program, Gevorg Gharibyan, Head of the Department of Children and Social Protection of the Yerevan Municipality, met with representatives of stakeholder organizations.
During the working meeting, participants discussed issues related to the social taxi services for persons with disabilities, as well as the development of a digital platform. The system is designed to provide tools for users and drivers, accessibility features, technical solutions, security measures, and integration with state and social services.
During the discussion, the participants highlighted the social importance of the program and the need for ongoing cooperation to expand accessibility and foster independent mobility for people with disabilities.
