By the end of the year, electronic timetables will be installed at approximately 40 bus stops across Yerevan. Alongside real-time online tracking, this initiative marks another step toward making public transportation more accessible and convenient for residents.

Over the past two years, Yerevan's metro has been modernized and re-equipped. Approximately 6 billion 300 million drams have been invested in these programs. The metro depot is getting a new lease on life: the roof and doors have been renovated, which cost 153.7 million

The new unified ticketing system introduced in public transport is going to be fully put into operation from January 1. Various payment methods will be offered: paper one-time tickets with a QR code, a mobile application, travel cards and bank cards. The Yerevan Underground will also operate on a unified system. After the full installation of the unified ticketing system, the use of tokens will be discontinued.

Within 6 months Yerevan public transport fleet will have 15 new trolleybuses and 171 8,5-meter buses. The buses will replace the old buses that are still in use.

Yerevan residents can already see real-time movement of itineraries number 7,18,23 and 31 via Yandex and Yandex Go maps as appropriate equipment has been installed on the buses servicing these itineraries. During the regular working meeting it was reported that

The experimental project of installation of the unified ticket system in public transport of Yerevan is over and the main program has started. Special ticket devices are being installed on buses. Later, they will be installed on “MAN” buses, then on trolleybuses and the metro. By the end of the year the process will be over on all other imported buses.
