The renovation of courtyards has got a new impetus in Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan. The process includes the construction of new football fields and playgrounds, as well as the greening of adjacent areas in several locations within the district.

As part of the ongoing program for the current year, the renovation of courtyard areas continues in Malatia-Sebastia administrative district.  Yerevan Municipality has allocated around 28 million drams for the implementation of the program.

The capital’s development programs are consistently focused on restoration, upgrading, and creating new opportunities to provide a more comfortable and enhanced environment for Yerevan residents and visitors. In  Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district, an illegal café was demolished, and the surrounding area was cleared.

Only in 2024, in the administrative district of Avan, yard territories with an area of about 14 thousand square meters were freed from garages and illegal constructions, and now children's playgrounds, recreation areas and alleys have been built here, trees and bushes have been planted.

In  Shengavit administrative district, improvement of courtyard areas is underway. This year alone, 18 courtyards have been improved, and work is ongoing on 3 courtyards. 88 garages

In the administrative district of Kanaker-Zeytun, about 30 thousand square meters of land have been returned to Yerevan residents this year. 13 courtyards were landscaped, 6 football fields were built, about 1,500 meters of sewerage network were laid and renovated.

In recent months, more comfortable conditions have been provided for residents of Ajapnyak administrative district: kindergartens have been completely renovated, courtyards have been landscaped.

The construction of a new park in the area between  St. Sargis Church and David Bek Street in Nor Nork administrative district is already in its final stage. The park has a cascade staircase, a pool with a fountain, a children's playground, a special area for walking dogs, and new irrigation and lighting systems. A forest area will also be created in the park.

The improvement of courtyards continues in the administrative districts of the capital. In Nubarashen, two courtyards have already been completely improved, in two other courtyards, partial improvement has been carried out, and the process of improvement of four more will begin in the near future.
