The courtyards in Malatia-Sebastia administrative district are being improved. Fences, gazebos and garages are being demolished from plots that have been illegally occupied by residents for over 20 years, and alleys, recreation areas and playgrounds will be built in their place.

Public areas of Yerevan are gradually returned to the city and its residents. This year, more than 8000 sq m of courtyards in Davtashen administrative district have been freed from illegally occupied plots, cleaned up and well-arranged. Comfortabl

Arrangement of yard areas is carried on in Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district. In 2024, well-arranged courtyards will replace about 30 garages. The rest zones will have playgrounds and football pitches, benches and gazebos.  

Football pitches are under construction in Ajapnyak administrative district to boost active lifestyle development. The courtyards of some buildings have been cleared from illegal constructions and fences. This year, 8 courtyards are going to be well-arranged. Besides, the replacement of approximately 1,5-km sewage pipeline is going on as well. The process of improvement is an interrupted process aimed at making the city more attractive and convenient for residents.
