Within 6 months Yerevan public transport fleet will have 15 new trolleybuses and 171 8,5-meter buses. The buses will replace the old buses that are still in use.

The experimental project of installation of the unified ticket system in public transport of Yerevan is over and the main program has started. Special ticket devices are being installed on buses. Later, they will be installed on “MAN” buses, then on trolleybuses and the metro. By the end of the year the process will be over on all other imported buses.

The first batch of the new 12-metre buses of “MAN” make has come out on the routes today. The new itinerary N1 will be served by 14 buses. The itinerary connects Ajapnyak to Kanaker-Zeytun through the city centre. Yerevan
