Attaching importance to providing tourists and citizens of Yerevan with proper information Yerevan Municipality founded touristic information support and citizens’ service centres in Yerevan in 2018.
The first such centre was opened at 2/1 Nalbandyan street, in the park adjacent to “Republic square” metro station. The second one is located at 2/5 Baghramyan avenue. The activity of the mentioned centres is coordinated and supervised by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Yerevan Municipality.
The aim of the info-centres is to show support to the citizens and guests of the capital providing them with the information on the city’s touristic infrastructures, the services suggested by the Municipality. The visitors are provided with free multi-language maps of Yerevan, with guidebooks and info-leaflets with the information about the municipal museums, the Yerevan zoo, the excursions provided by “Yerevan City Tour”, as well as about the e-services suggested by the Municipality of Yerevan, the schedule of citizens’ receptions, and the “hot line” service.
The mentioned info- centres work in accordance with the following schedule:
The centre nearby “Republic square” metro station - Monday-Saturday, from 10:00 till 18:30,
The centre “Square of France” at 2/5 Baghramyan avenue - Monday-Saturday, from 10:00 till 18:30,
The employees of the centre are willing to provide guests of the capital and citizens with necessary information in foreign languages as well.
In 2018 the centres served nearly 21007 visitors from 73 countries.
In 2019 the centres served 37344 visitors from 75 countries.
In 2020 the centres served 3687 visitors from 52 countries.
In 2021 the centres served 5612 visitors from 54 countries.
In 2022 the centres served 9319 visitors from 67 countries.
In 2023 the centres served 28456 visitors from 72 countries.
