In 2009-2013 worked as senior specialist of loan department at Armenian Development Bank.
In 2010-2011 worked as the founder and leader of “Irrigate” engaged in installation of irrigation systems and landscape design.
2014-2016 worked as digitations systems expert at “Shirak” technological company.
In 2014-2018 led “Cyber Vision” software company.
In 2016 was elected Board member of the “Civil Contract” party.
In 2017-2018 was a member of Yerevan Council of Elders representing “Yelk” faction.
In 2018-2021 worked as Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
In 2019 was elected a member of the “Civil Contract” party.
Since 2019 has been Board member of “Armenian National Interests Fund” CJSC.
In 2020-2021 worked as the RA Commandant during the State of Emergency announced as a result of COVID-19 pandemic.
Since 2021 has been the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund (R2E2).
Since 2022 has been Board member of “ArmBusinessBank” CJSC.
Since 2022 has been the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Armenian National Polytechnic University.
On September 23 2022 was appointed Deputy Mayor of Yerevan by the decision of the Council of Elders.
Was elected Yerevan Mayor at the meeting of Yerevan Council of Elders held on October 10, 2023.

The mayor organizes his activity through deputy mayors, heads of administrative districts, mayor’s advisers, assistants, press secretary, Yerevan City Hall staff. The mayor shall carry out the following mandatory powers:

• organize the activity of the Aldermen Council and the municipality,
• within his competence take measures to ensure the rights and freedoms of the residents,
• in accordance with the procedure established by law appoint and dismiss the City Hall Staff Secretary, the heads of structural subdivisions, municipal organizations, administrative districts,
• submit to the Aldermen Council the annual program of providing the use and alienating the Yerevan-owned property, according to it, manage the Yerevan-owned property, define the numbering of buildings and constructions of Yerevan,
• define the residences of the heads of administrative districts’
• in accordance with the procedure established by law or government independently and on his responsibility organize and supervise the implementation of the authorities delegated by the government,
• submit to the public annual reports on the activity of the Aldermen Council, on his own activity and on the general social-economic state of Yerevan,
• carry out the control over the activity of the heads of administrative districts and is responsible for proper implementation of their authorities,
• carry out the management of the Yerevan-owned substructures and provide their operation, with the right of advisory vote may participate in the meetings of government,
• other mandatory powers established by the law "On local self-government in the city of Yerevan"…

Was born on November 26, 1984 in Yerevan.

On June 30, 2023,  was dissolved from the office of the RA Ministry of EM because of the ministry’s dissolution.
During the elections for the Council of Elders held on September 17, 2023, headed the pre-election headquarters of the “Civil Contract” party.
As a result of the elections for Yerevan Council of Elders held on September 17, 2023, was elected member of Yerevan Council of Elders by the party-list proportional representation of the “Civil Contract” party.
At the meeting of the Council of Elders held on October 10, 2023, was appointed First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan.

1) To provide implementation of state health programs by municipal medical establishments.
2) To manage the activity of municipal medical establishments.
3) To analyze the activity of municipal medical establishments.
4) To work out proposals:
а. for reorganization or dismissal of medical establishments subordinated to Yerevan Municipality
b. related to financing anticipated by Yerevan budget and to control its targeted use by municipal medical establishments.
5) To analyze the proposals related to the construction, reconstruction of municipal medical establishment and if necessary submit corresponding proposals to the Mayor.
6) To take measures for improvement of the quality and availability of medical aid in municipal medical establishments.
7) To control the order of providing free medical aid to citizens and if necessary to submit proposals to the Mayor so as to eliminate defects.
8) In accordance with the order determined by law, to participate in the organization of sanitary and anti-epidemical (preventive) and quarantine actions.
9) In accordance with determined order, to submit proposals on appointment and dismissal of the heads of municipal medical establishments.
10) To submit proposals on the application of incentives or disciplinary sanctions in relation to the directors of municipal medical establishments.
11) To draw up and submit to the Staff Secretary the annual and quarterly report on the results of the activity of the department.

The Department of Foreign Relations has two divisions: the division of foreign relations and the division of protocol. The Department shall

•    prepare relevant decisions and orders on the instruction of the mayor;
•    ensure establishment and development of friendly relations with foreign cities;

• ensure planning, organization and holding of speeches, press conferences, briefings, meetings and interviews with officials, responsible for various fields of activity of the City Hall, implement information cooperation for covering activities of quarter communities of Yerevan;
• arrange provision of necessary consultancy and assistance to NGOs related to the fields of activity of the City Hall, organize development and implementation of awareness raising programs;
• ensure implementation of decisions and orders of the mayor of Yerevan related to the information sector;
• plan, organize, coordinate and oversee current activities of the department.

1968-went to Yerevan Russian school n 12 after S.M. Kirov and left it in 1978.
After leaving school worked at Auto-Aggregate plant mechanics department, from 1979 till 1981 worked at sewing production unit after K. Tsetkin.
1983-entered Russian Pedagogical College after N. Ostrovski, school department and graduated from it with honours in 1985.
1985-started working at party committee of Leninyan district.
In parallel with work got postal tuition at State Pedagogic University after Kh. Abovyan, department of history and graduated from it in 1992.
1994- started working at executive committee of Yerevan city council.
Afterwards started working as a first class specialist, head of inspection division of Education Department at Yerevan City Hall, then as a deputy head of department, head of general education division.
Since February 21, 2014 has been the head of Organization Department of Yerevan Municipality.
While working at Yerevan City Hall was awarded with thanksgiving diplomas of the director of the National Institute of the RA Ministry of Education and Science, of the RA Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, of the RA Government Foundation «One nation, one culture», in 2012 was awarded with the RA President's honorary diplomas.

  The Utility services department shall: 

• develop draft decisions and orders directed at the implementation of the territorial policy by the mayor of Yerevan in the communal services sector in the territory of the city of Yerevan, and in compliance with the established procedure order execution of the works related to the mentioned sector;

• present proposals for improvement of regulation of urban development activities;

In 2016, on the behest of the US Western Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Hovnan Terteryan was in the USA with the performances. At “Alex” theater of Glendale staged “Anoush” opera by A. Tigranyan; within the frames of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide presented “Liturgy by Komitas” concert-performance. Has been stage director and creative director of a number of projects.

In 2017, in New York cofounded the Armenian-American cultural organization “For the first time on the world stage”, which staged “Abegha” opera by Barsegh Kanachyan.

On February 23, 2018 was awarded with thanksgiving medal of Yerevan State College of Fine Arts after P. Terlemezyan for “Personal contribution to the development of the educational establishment”.

In January 2019 was appointed acting head of the Department of Culture of Yerevan Municipality.

• develop drafts of programmatic decisions and orders of the mayor for the implementation of the territorial policy in the field of construction, improvement and communal facilities in the territory of Yerevan, and order civil works for the mentioned field in compliance with the established procedure;
• participate in development of state programs related to the field of coordination of the department and ensure their implementation within the scope of its authority;
• organize construction, maintenance and operation of roads of city-wide significance, bridges, new buildings and structures;
• assist in organization of construction, maintenance and operation of roads of republican significance;
• control and coordinate activities in the territory of Yerevan in the fields of construction, arrangement of green spaces, external lighting, water structures and sanitary cleaning;
