“Gyumri has its special place in each Armenian’s heart”: Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan was present at “Symphonic Reincarnation” concert
“Symphonic Reincarnation” concert was held during Yerevan Days held in Gyumri. Hundreds of townspeople and guests of Gyumri gathered in Vardanants square to enjoy the concert. RA Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan, Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan, the head of Gyumri community Vardges Samsonyan, governor of Shirak Nazeli Baghdasaryan, ministers, members of the Councils of Elders and representatives of the staffs of both cities were present at the event.
In their speeches the statesmen presented the development programs initiated in the community and outlined future plans.
Congratulating everyone on Gyumri Day, Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan said, “Gyumri has its special place in the heart of each Armenian. Gyumri is one of the cities that formed and preserved our urban culture, greatest Armenian writers, musicians, scientists walked along the streets of Gyumri. I feel inspired with diligence of Gyumri people, of their belief in their own strength, their readiness to overcome ordeals. And I am confident that we must work with double enthusiasm, we must develop our homeland, make it flourish. I am delighted to see reviving Gyumri, our beloved city prospering day by day. I promise, that Yerevan will always be next to Gyumri and joining our efforts we will solve all seemingly unsolvable problems. Let our unity be eternal and let our love become the guarantee of our victories”.
The audience listened to the concert combining different styles with great pleasure. Warmth and excitement reigned in the heart of Gyumri.
At the end of the concert the head of Gyumri community Vardges Samsonyan expressed gratitude to his Yerevan colleague for the participation in the organization of the event and bringing so much warm feelings to Gyumri.
