On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Armenian National Instruments State Orchestra, the founder of the Orchestra, conductor, professor, and Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, Norayr Davtyan, was awarded the “Erebuni-Yerevan 2800th Anniversary” commemorative medal for his dedicated service and significant contribution to the preservation, development, and passing down of Armenia’s distinctive musical heritage to future generations.
Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia and duduk player Armen Grigoryan, along with tar players Arsen Mirzoyan and Davit Avagyan of the Armenian National Instruments State Orchestra, received certificates of appreciation from the Mayor of Yerevan.
In recognition of his significant contribution to the development of sports in Yerevan, international arbiter Ashot Vardapetyan was also honored with the “Erebuni-Yerevan 2800th Anniversary” commemorative medal.
The awards were conferred by First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Armen Pambukhchyan.
