"Yerevan" trade house will be built in Saint Petersburg
Within the frames of the official events of the Days of Yerevan in the Ra northern capital Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the Vice-Governor of Saint Petersburg Igor Golikov took part in the ceremony of underbuilding of the trade-hotel complex "Trade house "Yerevan".
In his greeting speech addressed to those present Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan said that one of the most important directions of cooperation between the two cities is the implementation of investment programs. Building of "Yerevan" trade house in Saint Petersburg refers to this strategy.
"So, we will have another architectural construction which will symbolize Armenians, Armenia and Yerevan. Within the frames of our cooperation in the future we are going to allot an area in Yerevan where "Saint Petersburg" hotel complex will be built and which will become a special representative of the northern capital of the RA in the capital of Armenia. I am sure that these two constructions will become an additional stimulus for strengthening the sincere friendship between the two cities and the two peoples", said Taron Margaryan.
The Mayor of Yerevan and the Vice-Governor of Saint Petersburg put the joint symbolic address of the Mayor of Yerevan and the Governor of Saint Petersburg to generations in the base of the trade-hotel complex to be built, in which Taron Margaryan and Georgi Poltavchenko expressed hope that the "Yerevan" trade house will play its special role in the issues of strengthening and expanding the friendly ties between the two cities. The construction of this complex is fulfilled within the program of cooperation for 2011-2014 in trade and economical, scientific and technological and humanitarian spheres signed between the Municipality of Yerevan and the government of Saint Petersburg. As a guarantee of continuity of the program an agreement was made to build later a 24-storey multi-functional complex in Nevski district of saint Petersburg.
