Yerevan’s Main Christmas tree was lit in a festive ceremony at Republic Square. The evening kicked off with a vibrant holiday program, featuring a spectacular drone light show in the city sky. During the event, Albert, Armenia’s representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025, performed his song “Brave Heart.” Then he joined Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan to switch on the lights of the country’s Main Christmas tree.
At the same time, the Christmas Market opened in Shahumyan Park, near Republic Square in the area around the “Erebuni–Yerevan 2750” fountains. The market will welcome visitors until January 14.
The evening ended with a stunning fireworks display.
