The approximately 9-hectare, community-owned area had long been abandoned and covered in waste. Today, it has been revitalized into a green forested zone. 
Around 5,000 trees and shrubs have been planted throughout the area.
The urban forest is equipped with an irrigation system: as part of the project, 2,300 linear meters of mainline and 1,600 meters of irrigation network were installed.
