Tree planting action in memory of victims of Great Patriotic War
Yerevan Deputy Mayor Levon Hovhannisyan took part in the symbolic tree planting action held in “Haghtanak” (“Victory”) park. The goal of this international initiative entitled “Park of Memory” is to pay memory tribute to those fallen in the Great Patriotic War. The Ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to Armenia, veterans and volunteers took part in the tree planting action. The “Park of Memory” action is held in various cities of the CIS countries. In Yerevan the action was held with the support of Yerevan Municipality.
