“A Blooming Pomegranate from Noah’s Land” exhibition in Xi’an, China
On the International Day of Museums an exhibition entitled “A Blooming Pomegranate from Noah’s Land” opened in Xi’an city of Shaanxi province of China. 94 exclusive samples from the collection of Yerevan History Museum were on display: traditional national costumes of 18-20 centuries, carpets, silver jewelry, embroidery, utensils.
The exhibition was organized within the frames of the cooperation agreement signed between Yerevan History Museum, “The Centre of Armenian-Chinese Partnership” NGO and the Xi’an Museum of the People’s Republic of China.
More 12 000 people visit the exhibition daily.
Official guests, art critics, cultural figures were present at the opening ceremony.
It should be noted that the exhibitions of Armenian culture started in China in January, from the Ningbo Museum.
