The process of repairing the underground pedestrian crossing at Grigor Lusavorich-Mashtots avenue is going on by the Municipality urban development program for 2013.
Within the program of complex improvement the concrete and basalt pavement of the area is being changed, the ceiling is being improved. The activities provided by the program are also going on in the outward segment of the overground part of the crossing. The basalt tiles of the walls are also being changed, staircases are being improved in parallel.
To solve the problem of water supply in the underground crossing new rain catchment systems are to be installed, storm-water inlets are to be cleaned. After the work is over movement of people in the crossing will become convenient and safe at nighttime too. The lighting system will also be changed within the frames of the program.
