New requirements for wheelchair access construction
In 2024, the number of new wheelchair ramps to be constructed will reach 400. During the regular working meeting it was reported that certain changes were made in technical assignments this year: some requirements were set to make ramps more convenient and accessible for use by different groups.

To continue the Patrol Police reforms, the municipal police is to be formed in Yerevan. The project worked out on the basis of the concept will give new powers to the service due to which the struggle against various violations and illegalities will become more effective.

The number of operators servicing 1-03 phone number have been increased to ensure obligatory rapid response to incoming calls and improve the quality of emergency medical services. Owing to it the service had no missed calls on January 31, February 1 and 2.

The community plans to carry out new structural solutions in the sphere of children’s rights protection and social aid. It will give the opportunity to Yerevan Municipality to provide new services to the most vulnerable social layers.
“We must continually develop the sphere of child care which has an important significance in child protection”, stressed Mayor Avinyan.
