During the working meeting in the City Hall which was chaired by Mayor Taron Margaryan it was reported that preparations for the coming heating season are going on in the blocks of flats, educational, health and other establishments subordinated to Yerevan Municipality. The First Deputy Mayor Kamo Areyan reported that such activities are carried out by the companies “Water constructions”, “Yerevan Jur” and “Yerevan gas” as well.
Regarding the issue of heating in pre-schooling, educational, cultural and medical establishments within Yerevan Municipality jurisdiction, Mayor Taron Margaryan assigned the Department of General Education, the Department of Health and the Department of Culture as well as the heads of 12 administrative districts to check out the boiling stations of the establishments and to be ready to start the heating season.
“Keep this process at the focus of attention and once again remind the principals that whenever the temperature falls they are obliged to put the boilers into operation. I have told many times that it’s unacceptable to set terms for starting heating season. I want to remind that last year principals of some schools were dismissed for announcing that Yerevan Municipality doesn’t permit to turn on the heating while all the powers to do it were given to the principals. So, keep a watchful eye so that the boilers and heating systems were completely ready for starting”, stressed Taron Margaryan.
