On the event of 2799th anniversary of Yerevan, within the frames of the reception organized in the foyer of Yerevan City Hall, Mayor Taron Margaryan expressed gratitude to all the persons who have many-year experience of working in various spheres and are going on to contribute to Yerevan development.
The Mayor also stressed that being one of dynamically developing cities of the world, due to all those people who sincerely love Yerevan today it is moving forward with confidence.
“On behalf of Yerevan Municipality staff and on my personal behalf I congratulate all of us and wish all Yerevanians peace and festive mood so that together we could celebrate the birthday of our beloved capital. Today representatives of various establishments and spheres serving Yerevan and its residents with their devoted work are present here. We have chosen best of the best, those who are to be awarded with highest state awards of the RA President, the RA NA Chairman and the RA Prime Minister. Many of those present will be awarded by me. It is certainly not easy to choose best of the best however these difficulties also witness that in the future Yerevan development will be long-lasting and our other co-citizens contributing to this issue will be appreciated too. I am sure that each of us is proud of being Yerevanian and all of us are proud of living in the capital of all Armenians. Once again congratulating all of you I wish you and your families health and success”, said Taron Margaryan.
During the visit Yerevan Mayor also awarded a number of people for their many-year devoted activity.
