Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan, the representative of EU in Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Switalksi and Vice-President of the European Investment Bank Laszlo Baranyay signed the Memorandum of Understanding of the willingness to cooperate in the sphere of solid waste management. The program provides for the establishment of waste management system corresponding to international standards as well as the construction of new sanitary dump near the current dump.
