Yerevan Completes Events Dedicated to Khachatryan’s Jubilee with “Spartak” Ballet
Khachatryan’s music was reigning in Yerevan for three days. The series of events dedicated to the 120th jubilee of the great composer and organized by Yerevan Municipality was completed with “Spartak” ballet.
Summarizing the three-day events Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan thanked the audience and all participants who put lots of efforts and enthusiasm into this project and dedicated their time and talent to make it come true.
For the contribution to the cultural life of Yerevan and high-level organization of the events dedicated to Aram Khachatryan’s 120th jubilee, Yerevan Mayor’s Gold Medal was awarded to the acting director of the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after A. Spendiaryan, the RA Distinguished Artist Karen Durgaryan and to the head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Culture and Tourism Gosh Sargsyan.
People who were present at the magnificent music event shared their delight with the cultural project and expressed hope it would become a tradition.
