On the instruction of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, social support shown to needy Syrian Armenian families is going on. This time the visit of the head of the Department of Social Welfare Ruzanna Zakaryan was Arakelyan street, 40 in Ajapnyak district where the family of Hakob Berberyan and Sonya Dabaghyan consisted of four members rented their house. The family recently hosted their relative with two under age children who had just emigrated from Syria.
The head of the Department of Social Welfare discussed the problems concerning the family with the hostess. Stressing that Syrian Armenians and their problems are at permanent focus of attention of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, R. Zakaryan said that on the Mayor's instruction such visits are ongoing, and the Municipality has done and does its best within its powers to find solutions to the problems concerning our compatriots and to improve their social conditions. In this context the head of the Department of Social Welfare suggested this and other Syrian Armenian families to keep active feedback with corresponding divisions of the staff of the head of the administrative district to make the support more purposeful. This time he Berberyans were given clothing, shoes and monetary allowance.
