The Children and Youth School of Figure Skating and Ice Hockey is going to be overhauled and brought to coordination with international standards. This construction, which used to be neglected for decades and became badly damaged as a result, will become a complex centre for increasing mastership in single combat sports.
Due to the program to be fulfilled, Yerevan teams will have a centre where training and gatherings can be held. The complex will host 6 sports.
Boxing rings, wrestling mats, a hall for physical training: the complex centre will make it possible for athletes to hold training in new and appropriate conditions.
The Children and Youth Tennis and Badminton Sport School has already been overhauled and put into operation. The final stage of renovation is going on in “Shengavit Complex Sports School”. The community-financed project started in 2022 has solved the problems rooted here for years.
The city authorities intend to provide proper conditions in other sport schools in Yerevan.
