On June 14 the new motorway stretching from Admiral Isakov avenue to Leningradyan street was solemnly out into operation. This road has been expected for a long time and the construction took 700 days of three-shift work. For the contribution in the construction of the road Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan awarded “Honorary builder of Yerevan” medal to the director of “Sahakyanshin” CJSC Suren Sahakyan. The director of “Yerevanproject” CJSC Sirekan Ohanyan, the director of “ Office for investment projects of Yerevan construction” community non-commercial organization Felix Afyan, the chief engineer of “ Yerevanproject” CJSC, first deputy director Albert Shakaryan and the head f the division of roads and bridges of “Yerevanproject” CJSC Harutyun Avagyan were awarded with Golden Medals of Yerevan Mayor. For the participation and contribution to the construction of the road connecting Isakov avenue to Leningradyan street a number of road builders and the persons contributing to the realization of the project were awarded with thanksgiving and honorary diplomas of the Mayor of Yerevan. Congratulating and thanking all those who took part in the construction Mayor Taron Margaryan stressed that this motorway is an important achievement for Yerevan. “The construction of this road was a realization of a dream, as it was designed in 1972 and due to our joint efforts it has been realized And today I want to thank you both as a Mayor and as a Yerevanian for whom any achievement of the capital is very important and expected. Be sure that all those who have their contribution to the development of the capital and do their best to make our beloved Yerevan better, will always be appreciated by the city authorities”, said Taron Margaryan. Expressing gratitude for the appreciation and confidence the director of “Sahakyanshin” Suren Sahakyan emphasized the support and systematic assistance of Mayor Taron Margaryan throughout the construction process and assured that they are always ready to contribute to the programs of Yerevan development.
