A new alternative road is under construction in the administrative district of Nork-Marash, connecting it with Kentron district, which will significantly relieve Armenakyan Street. The 1.4 km long road will connect Garegin Hovsepyan and Saralanji Streets. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan got acquainted with the progress of the project.
As the Mayor noted, the city authorities are considering and will continue to implement new projects aimed at relieving traffic. Such projects are becoming a reality thanks to the efforts of the Municipality aimed at increasing community income. In 2024, Yerevan city income increased by about 40%, and these funds will be directed to the development of such infrastructure.
As part of the project, new infrastructures have been built along the road: storm drains, sewerage, gas and electricity supply systems, as well as an external  lighting network.
