“Fashion is art, and art is the face of our city” — Mayor Tigran Avinyan
Yerevan Fashion Week has launched and taken the world by storm, bringing together Armenian and international designers, leading industry professionals, influential guests, and fashion enthusiasts under one roof.
The Yerevan Municipality has been the main sponsor and partner of the event, in collaboration with both international and local organizations. Organized by the Fashion and Design Chamber of Armenia, the initiative aims to develop the Armenian fashion industry, elevate it to global platforms, and gradually establish Yerevan as a major host city for fashion weeks.
The annual “Yerevan Fashion Week 2025,” held at the Meridian Expo Center, was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
As part of the event, Emilia Zakaryan, a participant in the “Fashion Scout Armenia” competition for emerging designers, received the Yerevan Mayor’s Award.
“Yerevan Municipality has proudly supported the ‘Yerevan Fashion Week’ project for the second year in a row, because fashion is art, and art is the face of our city,” said the mayor, expressing his gratitude for the organization of a truly high-quality event.
“Yerevan Fashion Week 2025” features collections from more than 20 Armenian and international designers from the UAE, Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, and Russia. The project highlights innovation, sustainability, and cultural identity.
Collections from over 60 Armenian and international brands were also presented in the “Fashion Expo” area.
