Green zone adjacent to Torq Angegh statue to be turned into a splendid walk zone
The green area around Torq Angegh statue in Nor Nork administrative district will be turned into a splendid place for walks.
Before starting the project, the local authorities initiated the clean-up of the territory, freeing it from illegally occupied land plots.
There are lots of illegally fenced and occupied plots in the courtyards of the district. The attitude of the city authorities to this problem is firm: all public areas must be returned to Yerevan and Yerevanians.
Approximately 20 garages will be dismantled this year, and about 25000 sq m of land will be cleaned up from illegal constructions.
