New projects in Arabkir district: spacious public zones, a trade centre and well-arranged courtyards
Within the frames of cooperation between the community and the private sector a new comfortable recreation zone with a sports ground, an amphitheater and a basin with fountains is under construction on Komitas avenue. A trade centre which is also under construction here will also have IT development and music centres for children and an underground parking area.
The program of 2024 also includes renovation of 10 yard areas in Arabkir administrative district. An area for dog walking has been separated as well. To implement these projects more than 70 illegal garages, constructions and kiosks were dismantled. More than 30000 sq m of yard areas have been cleaned up from illegally occupied plots.
Mergelyan park will soon be opened after the renovation and reconstruction. The park which used to be full of kiosks, cafes, broken carrousels, will now have cozy alleys, benches, a playground, a fountain complex, a children’s development center.
