New Standards in Advertising: Banners in Baghramyan Avenue Dismantled

22.08.2023

A month ago, Baghramyan avenue was overloaded with advertising banners. Now most of them have been dismantled. In spring, the Council of Elders set new standards for external advertising, and big banners particularly of 3x6 size have been prohibited. All big banners in the city will be dismantled. The first address was Baghramyan avenue.
The process was carried out by advertising organizations. Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan informed that it does not mean there will be no advertisement banners at all. Actually, there will be various banners but of a smaller size and corresponding to the new standards. The main part of those standards refers to the posters and banners stuck of buildings: they must not spoil the look of the buildings, there will be no electronic ads with tickers. The city authorities are sure that in association with the economic entities it will be possible to regulate the sphere.
