According to Appendixes N1 and N2 of Yerevan Mayor’s decision N 344-A made on 08.02.2023, the invitations for public discussions were posted on the official website of Yerevan Municipality, on the unified website of Legal Acts and in the “Republic of Armenia” (“Hayastani Hanrapetutyun”) newspaper as well as were stuck in visible places at Yerevan City Hall and in the offices of the heads of administrative districts. Accordingly, public discussions related to the draft decisions of the Council of Elders of Yerevan were organized in the period from February 9 to 24. In the order determined for public discussions two applications were registered for the open hearings to be held at the Municipality on February 20, however only one citizen participated in it. Open public hearings were organized in all administrative districts of the capital. The number of citizens participated in them was 132. The questions raised by the participants were given relevant explanations. As a result of public discussions held in the City Hall and 12 administrative districts, no changes were made in the draft decisions. The results of the public discussions were summarized at the meeting of the Council held on February 27. The members of the Council unanimously voted for submitting the project to the discussion for the Council of Elders.
