Citizens entitled to preferential use of the new transport tariffs can be identified with their physical contactless ARCA, VISA, MASTER bank cards in the administrative buildings of administrative districts of Yerevan (district administrations) and attach the preferential package to the bank card.
To purchase preferential tickets, you must visit district administration buildings with an identity document and a social service number cards.
The same process can be carried out at Telcell service points, as well as on the transport.yerevan.am website.

Citizens who are not included in the preferential groups can currently purchase a transport card at self-service terminals at 10 metro stations. Citizens who have difficulties using the terminals can seek help from the ticket office staff and receive a card at the ticket office from January 14 between 11:00 and 16:00 and from 20:00 and 23:00. The time limit is due to the intensity of passenger traffic and is intended to eliminate interruptions and congestion.
The same process can be carried out through the transport.yerevan.am website by attaching ARCA, VISA, MASTER bank cards (it is not necessary to purchase a transport card).

It should be noted that the transport card will be activated within 3 hours after charging it: this is due to software updates, transfer of information and purchase of a ticket, attachment of cards to all validators.
