Within the frames of «We are side by side with our soldiers» action being implemented by the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan together with the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese vicar Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan visited the families where there are two or three compulsory military servants or where there is a soldier became disabled or killed while taking their service. Greeting this initiative of the Ararat Diocese Taron Margaryan stressed that the Municipality of Yerevan is always ready to assist and support those families within its powers. Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan in his turn assured that the Armenian Church is always side by side with the Armenian soldiers and that similar programs will be long-lasting. The clergymen of the Armenian Apostolic Church performed the rite of home blessing in all visited families. During the visits Yerevan Mayor donated the mentioned families necessary household appliances, and the Ararat Diocese donated them monetary aid. Stressing the importance of implementation of this program of social significance the families received assistance expressed their gratitude for the treatment and special attention.
