On the event of the International Dance Day Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan hosted the workers of dance art who had big contribution to the development of Armenian culture.
The Mayor congratulated the guests on the professional holiday and wished them success in their activity for the benefit of the development of Armenian art. For the contribution to the art of dance, for creation and spreading of artistic values Taron Margaryan awarded the Gold Medal of the Mayor of Yerevan to the RA Honorary Artist Nadezhda Davtyan.
The medal “Honorary figure of Yerevan culture” was given to the teacher at the division of the Armenian folk dances of the Yerevan State College of Dance Art, dance teacher Srbuhi Babayan, to the soloist of “Barekamutyun” dance ensemble, dance teacher Hrach Badalyan and to the ballet soloist of the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet after Al. Spendiaryan Zaven Harutyunyan.
Those awarded expressed gratitude to the Mayor for the appreciation and for the attention paid to their sphere.
