During the regular meeting of the Yerevan Council of Elders convened on May 25 the Council discussed and approved of the draft decision on placement of the sculptural group depicting the USSR Champion, the USSR Cup winner, the legendary football team “Ararat 73” in the western part of the “Hrazdan” stadium adjacent to Tsitsernakaberd highway.

The author of the sculptural group dedicated to “Ararat 73” football team is sculptor Vladimir Antashyan. During the special meeting the Council also discussed and confirmed the program of improvement and expansion of the road leading from the end of Tigran Petrosyan street towards Davtshen 2nd quarter to make the area more corresponding to modern standards.
Questions and answers followed the meeting and the Mayor of Yerevan and the heads of subdivisions of the staff answered the questions of the members of the Council.
