During the weekly working meeting in the City Hall it was reported that within the frames of Yerevan Municipality program of 2018 renovation of yard areas and playgrounds, installation of sport equipment, asphalting, construction of wheelchair ramps and repairing of damaged balconies are going in the capital. Renovation of entries and roofs of blocks of flats is going on too. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to set control over the quality and terms of activities.

It was reported that the process of installation of public WCs in lively areas and places of tourist interest is going on too. So, in Kentron district 3 areas of 5 planned ones are to be put into operation in a few days.
Related to installation of tourists information support desks it was reported that the first desk located at the junction of Melik-Adamyan-Nalbandyan streets will soon start working, and the activities for installation of the second desk at the junction of Baghramyan-Mashtots avenues have already started.
Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the working group in charge to keep the process under control as well as to complete the well-arrangement process of the area adjacent to the information support desks.
It was also reported during the meeting that the process of pruning the trees hindering the traffic lights and touristic buses is going on. The tourism unit, the Department of Nature Protection and the Department of Transport were assigned to finish the work in time cooperating with the Road Polce.
Related to the improvement of the segment of Moskovyan street between Nalbandyan street and Mashtots avenue the Department of Building and Improvement Department of Nature Protection, the Chief Designer, “Yerqaghluys” company and the head of Kentron administrative district to bring the area in order within 10 days.
At the end of the meeting Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the corresponding departments of the staff and the heads of administrative districts to get ready for the actions to be held in all administrative districts on the event of Republic Day on May 28.
