89 additional groups which can host 2500 children to be formed due to kindergartens overhauling programs of 2019-2024
The external and internal systems of illumination of “Yeritasardakan” metro station have been modernized in cooperation with the Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund.

Construction of five new kindergartens is planned in Yerevan, and renovation of 17 ones is going on. Within the frames of kindergartens overhauling programs of 2019-2014, 89 new groups will be formed to host approximately 2500 kids.

All relevant conveniences will be provided in 4 policlinics by the program started in 2023. Overhauling of 6 more ones is planned as well. The municipal medical establishments are stage by stage re-equipped and modernized.

The municipal bus fleet with 171 new buses. The agreement has been signed, and financial means disbursed.

The design for the construction of the new building of the Children and Youth School of Gymnastics after Albert Azaryan is ready and is under examination. The construction kicks off in the second third of 2024. The facilities of the new building anticipated for 430 athletes will correspond to all standards required for trainings and hosting international tournaments.

The Children and Youth School of Figure Skating and Ice Hockey will be modernized after 20 years of neglect. This shabby building will be turned into the centre for individual sport mastership improvement. Due to the program Yerevan teams will have a centre for training gatherings. The centre will host 6 sport disciplines.

The improvement of the area surrounding the monument to Alexander Tamanyan has been completed.

Yerevan Zoo will also have its look updated: new enclosures, walkways, green comfortable environment. The bus-stop opposite “Yeritasardakan” metro station, from where buses commute passengers to Yerevan Zoo at weekends, is going to be reoperated. The fist bus will come on the route on May 1, at 11:00.
