Levon Hovhannisyan welcomes delegation led by Vice President and Secretary General of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Wan Gang
Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan received the delegation of the Tibet Autonomous Region (Xizang) led by Vice President, Secretary General of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Wan Gang.
Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan stressed that bilateral relations between Armenia and China are at a high level.
"We'd like to express our willingness to take steps to strengthen and intensify bilateral cooperation. I am confident that there are many areas and programs that can contribute to effective and mutually beneficial cooperation between Yerevan and the regions of China," Levon Hovhannisyan noted.
The parties highly appreciated the cooperation between Yerevan and the Chinese Embassy and discussed further plans.
The meeting was also attended by the head of the "Civil Contract" faction of Yerevan Council of Elders Armen Galjyan and the head of "The Republic" faction Ani Khachatryan.
