Yerevan Deputy Mayor Levon Hovhannisyan hosted Deputy Governor of Mogilev Oblast of Belarus Ruslan Strakhar. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Armenia Alexander Konyuk and the director of “Mogilevliftmash” company were present at the meeting as well.
Stressing that the relationship between Armenia and Belarus are sustainable developing, Levon Hovhannisyan attached importance to expansion of cooperation perspectives.
The program of replacement of old elevators with new ones in the blocks of flats of the capital was discussed as well. During the recent years approximately 1500 new elevators manufactured in Belarus were installed in Yerevan. Levon Hovhannisyan marked that the city authorities intend to carry on the program next year.
The parties expressed willingness to continue negotiations over the program implementation.
