Yerevan Days gala-concert in Saint Petersburg
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and Saint Petersburg Governor Georgi Poltavchenko together with the representatives of Saint Petersburg government and Yerevan delegation were present at the gala-concert organized in State Academic Capella of Saint Petersburg. Jazz quintet of jazzman Vahagn Hayrapetyan, duduk player Norayr Kartashyan and the choir “Hover” took part in the concert. Popular jazz compositions sounded during the gala-concert called “Yerevan sketches”. The repertoire of “Hover” choir included compositions by Komitas and contemporary authors. All the performances were warmly greeted and got high appreciation.
