Important decision related to illegal constructions: Special meeting of Council of Elders
From now on any illegal construction built on community-owned land can be dismantled by Yerevan Mayor’s decision irrespectively of the degree of its completion and being subjected to legalization. At today’s meeting the Council of Elders approved of that draft decision. It should be noted that in case the Municipality decides to alienate the illegal construction the person who built it would not be preferable. Presenting their opinions about the draft decision the members of the Council stressed that any initiative aimed at the regulation of the sphere are welcomed.

By the decision of the Council of Elders, the amount of 8 million 622 thousand drams will be allotted from the community budget to improve the premises and the building of the kindergarten in Aygedzor village in Tavush marz. Another amount of 3 million will be disbursed to purchase and install children playgrounds in the new park being built in Kornidzor village of the community of Tegh in Syunik marz.
