This year, 7th International Short Film Festival moved from Yerevan to Tavush
The 7th Yerevan International Short Film Festival has taken place. This year, the cinema moved from the capital to Tavush province. Yerevan Municipality became the main sponsor of the festival for the second year in a row.
This year, more than 700 applications from 85 countries - from China to Brazil and Europe - were received for participation in the film festival. The competition program included 46 films in 3 nominations: "International Program" - short fiction films, "National Program" - short fiction films and documentaries, and "Student Program" - short fiction films and documentaries made by students.
Film shows, creative meetings, discussions and master classes: for 5 days, from July 29 to August 2, viewers had the opportunity to watch short films that have won awards at prestigious international film festivals.
The VII International Short Film Festival not only promotes and encourages the development of film production, but also forms a new generation of cinema.
