In 2000, the United Nations (hereinafter referred to as the UN) declared August 12 as the International Youth Day to draw the attention of UN Member States to youth-related issues and priorities for their solution.
The Republic of Armenia also celebrates the International Youth Day, emphasizing the role of youth in the development and progress of society and the state.
Yerevan Municipality will not remain aloof from this important event either: on August 12, 2024, at 17:00, an event dedicated to this international day will be held in Misak Manushyan Park with the participation of youth-related organizations operating under the Yerevan Municipality. The Municipality will provide tents, a stage and necessary technical means.
Yerevan Municipality expects and welcomes the participation of public organizations and youth groups operating in Yerevan in the event and invites all interested organizations and individuals to the event.
