Urban Development Programs to Become Manageable Via GIS
Urban development programs and various fields of the city economy will become manageable via electronic GIS (Geographic Information System). During the regular working meeting Mayor Tigran Avinyan marked that with the installation of the system the logic of work of Yerevan Municipality and administrative districts will significantly change. The community purchased the full package which is an electronic map designated to noticeably simplify the services provided to Yerevan residents making the services more available, transparent and logical.

Modernization of external lighting is going on in the city. In April, more than 880 energy saving LED lamps and 8600 m of cables were installed. It was instructed to install lower Kelvin bulbs in Yard areas.
