Within the frames of the reception organized in the City Hall of Yerevan for the persons of many-year experience in various spheres on the event of 2797th anniversary of the capital, Mayor Taron Margaryan awarded gold medals of the Mayor of Yerevan to a number of distinguished people. For special services rendered to the city, many years of fruitful work for the sake of the capital, as well as for the services in homeland defence Yerevan Mayor's golden medal was awarded to the TV presenter, film director, scenario writer, RA Honoured Journalist Arthur Bakhtamyan; the professor of Yerevan State Institute of Theater and cinematography Hrachik Gasparyan; to the Prior of the Vicarial Church of St Sargis of the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese priest Shahe Hayrapetyan; to the drama specialist, writer, RA Honoured Art Worker Levon Mutafyan; to azatamartiks in the person of the vice president of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union Ara Ketikyan; to the leader of the territorial subdivision of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union of the administrative district of Achapnyak Apres Hovhannisyan; to the leader of the territorial subdivision of Yerkrapah Volunteer Union of Avan administrative district Petros Amiryan; to the senior inspector of the general division of the YerkrapahVolunteer Union Hasmik Galoyan; to the leader of the division of military orchestras of the general headquarters of the Military Forces of the RA, chief conductor, Colonel Armen Poghosyan; to the head of staff management of the general headquarters of the Military Forces of the R, Colonel David Manukyan; to the actor of Yerevan Drama Theater after H. Ghaplanyan, RA Honoured Artist Robert Harutyunyan; to the deputy head of public order security of the Yerevan department of the RA Police Lieutenant-Colonel Ara Sargsyan; to the head of the department of traffic organization and supervision of the RA Road Police, Lieutenant-Colonel Konstantin Kostanyan; to the Honoured Culture Worker, ethnographer, folklore collector Venera Sahakyan and to the chairman of the Academy of Humanism Problems Grigor Asatryan.

Expressing gratitude for the appreciation, the persons awarded with Mayor's gold medal noted that the award obliges them to go on contributing to the development of the warm and kind city-Yerevan.
